Define the content and settings for special commands, i.e. escape, defend, death, none/end turn, change member and join battle.
Special commands settings are found in Battles > Special Commands.
Defend #
The defend command is used to reduce damage taken while defending.
Content Information #
Set up the content type, name, short name, description, icon and custom content for the defend command.
Base Defend Rate #
Define the base defence rate when using the defend command.
It’s used as percent value – i.e. if the value is 100, the damage will do 100 % of it’s original damage, if the result is 50, the damage will only do 50 % of it’s original damage.
Cast Time #
The defend command can be casted for a set amount of time before it is used.
The cast time can be displayed in a HUD (either as a number or a bar).
Animation Settings #
Define if and how the defend command will be animated.
The command can be animated using one or multiple schematics. You can override a schematic’s prefabs and audio assets – allowing them to be shared across multiple actions.
Combatants can optionally override this battle animation.
Escape #
The escape command is used to leave a battle.

Base Escape Chance #
Define the base escape chance when using the escape command.
The escape is performed if a random float number between two values (default 0 and 100, you can change this in the game settings) is less or equal to this value.
Combatants can override the escape chance.

The escape command can be casted for a set amount of time before it is used.
The cast time can be displayed in a HUD (either as a number or a bar).

Define if and how the escape command will be animated.

The death command is used when a combatant dies or uses a death action (killing itself).
