Item Collection

Set up the item collection and item box dialogues.

The item collection settings are found in Menus > Item Collection.

This is used by Item Collector components used to collect single items or interact with an item box.

Item Collection #

Used by item collectors when picking up single or random content (e.g. items, equipment or currency) in a scene.

You can use the Start Item Collector node in schematics to add additional functionality to item collection.

Before Collection #

Optionally animate the player or play a sound effect before collecting an item.

After Collection (Ok) #

Optionally animate the player or play a sound effect after collecting an item.

After Collection (Cancel) #

Optionally animate the player or play a sound effect after collecting an item.

Collection Dialogue #

Optionally show an item collection dialogue when collecting an item.

You can define different content information for items, equipment and currencies.

The dialogue can either use input buttons or the UI box’s ok/cancel buttons for confirming or declining the collection.

Default Start Settings #

Optionally define the default start settings that are used by newly added Item Collector components.

Item Box #

Used by item collectors that are set up as an item box.

Before Collection #

Optionally animate the player or play a sound effect before opening the item box.

After Collection #

Optionally animate the player or play a sound effect after closing the item box.

Inventory Exchange Menu #

Optionally use a menu screen with an Inventory Exchange menu part instead of the item box dialogue.

Drag and Drop Settings #

The player can optionally interact with item boxes via drag and drop.

Take Quantity Selection #

Define how the quantity of items taken from the the item box is decided.

If Default, the default give quantity selection is used.

Item List Settings #

Define the appearance of the item list the item box contains.

This includes selecting the UI box, defining content for the buttons displaying items, etc.

Description Box #

Optionally display a description for the selected items.
