New
- Editor: Assets
You can now use assets from other sources, e.g. asset bundles or placed in a ‘Resources’ folder. Previous settings will be updated automatically and use the ‘Reference’ asset source, i.e. the ORK project stores the direct reference to the asset (as it has been before). - Game Settings: Asset Settings
‘Asset Settings’ available. Define base asset settings that are used in the project, e.g. the default path for asset bundles. Also allows changing asset sources throughout the entire project, e.g. changing all ‘Reference’ sources to ‘Asset Bundle’ (if the used asset is part of an asset bundle). - Game Controls: Interaction Settings
‘Layer Mask’ and ‘Distance’ settings available. Define the layer and distance used for click interaction raycasts. Make sure to check this setting when updating your project and your click interactions no longer work. - Camera Controls: Top Down Border
‘Reset Rotation Key’ and ‘Reset Zoom Key’ settings available. Resets the zoom or rotation to the original values using input keys. - Formulas, Battle AIs, Event System: Debug

‘Is Enemy’ setting available in ‘Select Combatant’ nodes when using filters. Optionally only select combatants that are allies or enemies of a defined user combatant. - Scene Objects
‘No Tooltip’ setting available. Prevents a scene object from being used by ‘Tooltip’ type HUDs. E.g. use this if you use a scene object only for cursor changes on game objects in the scene. - Attack Attributes
‘Traits Display Settings’ available. Define values for identifying strength, weakness and recovery attack sub-attributes. By default, strength is between 0 and 100, weakness above 100 and recovery below 0. - Defence Attributes

‘Init Game Event’ setting available. Optionally use a game event when an instance of an item is initialized (i.e. first created). The item is available in the game event as selected data with the key ‘action’. - Weapons, Armors: Description
New text codes available to add durability and maximum durability of an equipment to the description text. - Battle Settings: Battle Camera
‘Target Battle Arena’ setting available in the different ‘Look At’ settings. Optionally use the battle arena as target for the camera change instead of the targeted combatant. - Grid Highlights: Blink Settings
‘Blink Only Prefab’ setting available. Optionally only blink the highlight prefab instead of cell prefab and highlight prefab. - Grid Highlights: Grid Formation
‘Grid Formation’ highlight settings available. Optionally highlight the cells that are part of a grid formation and the combatant’s formation position cell while player combatants select actions. - Combatant Groups: Battle Spot
‘Battle Spot’ settings available for individual combatants of a combatant group. Optionally override the default battle spots defined in ‘Battle System > Battle Spots’ for a group’s combatant. This battle spot will be overridden by battle spots defined in ‘Battle’ components. - Combatants: Death Settings
‘Remove From Battle’ setting available when using ‘Keep Prefab’ on death. Optionally not remove enemy combatants from battle upon death to allow them being revived and take part in battle again. Only available when enabling ‘Keep Prefab’ to not destroy the combatant’s spawned game object upon death. - GUI Boxes: Text Typing
‘Hide Ok/Cancel’ setting available. Optionally hide the ok and cancel buttons while the text is typing. - HUDs: Interaction
‘Interaction Source’ setting available. Select where the displayed interaction is coming from, either the ‘Interaction Controller’ attached to the player or from a game object below the cursor (or both). - HUDs: Combatant, Turn Order, Latest Turn: Attack Attribute
‘Show Traits’ setting available. Optionally display all attack (sub-)attributes identified as a selected trait, i.e. strength (value between 0-100), weakness (value above 100), immunity (value being 0) or recovery (value below 0). The values for identifying strength, weakness and recovery can be adjusted in the attack attribute’s settings. - HUDs: Combatant, Turn Order, Latest Turn: Defence Attribute

Changes
- Editor: Formulas, Battle AI, Event System
Loading empty nodes in the editor (e.g. coming from having custom nodes and removing their code) will now be replaced by comment nodes to prevent errors. - Event Interaction
You can now override prefabs and audio clips of a game event regardless of if they’re already set up in the event or not. - Battle Settings: Battle Camera
Canceling target selection will reset the battle camera back to showing the menu user (if ‘Look At Menu User’ is used). - Grid Highlights
Highlights only using line renderers (i.e. not using prefab or blink highlights) no longer replace prefab/blink highlights from other highlights. E.g. the move range highlight (using line renderer) will no longer block combatant highlights (using prefab or blinking). - Menu Screens: Equipment
Dragging an equipment on an equipment part it can’t be equipped on now plays the ‘Fail’ audio clip.
Fixes
- Menu Screens: Inventory Exchange
Fixed an issue where using ‘Tabs’ to display item types could prevent the first tab to be used when clicking on it. - Save Games: Item Drops
Fixed an issue where item drops (e.g. from killed enemies or dropping items from the inventory) could be multiplied when loading a game with additive scene loading (i.e. multiple scenes where loaded). - Battles: Auto Join
Fixed an issue with setting scene IDs and respawning combatants from multiple combatant spawners when using teleport battles. - Attack/Defence Attributes: Immunity Flying Texts
Fixed an issue where the immunity flying texts could be displayed for displaying texts like use costs. - Move To Interaction
Fixed an issue where using ‘Move To Interaction’ caused an error when no player was spawned and an interaction was clicked. - Status Requirements: Death
Fixed an issue where using ‘Death’ status requirement wasn’t automatically checked upon death or revival of a combatant (e.g. when used in the combatant’s ‘Conditional Prefabs’). - Event System: Use Battle Event
Fixed an issue wher enabling ‘Can Use’ could lead to not progressing the battle event if the action couldn’t be used. - Editor, Battle Grid Component
Changing grid settings (and saving them) in the editor where not used when creating grids in scenes.
